2. A simple solution sometimes, and sometimes not.

Many times an artist will use colors such as red and blue. These colors are actually created with different values of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, & Black.

Red = 100%Magenta & 100%Yellow
Blue= 100%Magenta & 100%Cyan

As you can see both colors have Magenta but vary in the Yellow & Cyan...
In this situation at Tri-Tech we would recognize this and output a
Yellow plate for the Red, Cyan for the Blue.
This will result in 2pieces of film being output. The result, the printer uses the correct colour for the printing not what is labeled on the film....Cyan=blue Yellow=red

This is a great time saver for those receiving files from outside sources. This simple but reliable conversion can save hours of redoing files....

In the situation where both color contain parts of Cyan,Magenta,Yellow, & Black, then the file would have to be altered before film can be output.

Always when sending a file for color separation, please output a test on your own laser printer. If more pages output than you have colors in your design. There could be a potential problem.
