| QuarkXPress - Hints and Tips. |
At Tri-Tech we have have been imaging QuarkXPress files long before most others in the industry.
Starting back in the mid 1980's. Tri-Tech made the move from conventional film stripping/pasteup/typsetting to film imaging using a novel idea of imaging to a Printware 1200dpiLaser Printer. Film was then created on our camera by shooting the laser paper @ 50% size to achieve the 2400 dpi film. We were 2 years ahead of the later to be developed film imagesetters. That is why through the 80's and 90's Tri-Tech was the service bureau or pre-press company for most of the largest printingcompanies in ontario. If they can trust us with your files, you can too. Our experience is second to none in the industry, and our equipment is always state of the art.
Since the induction of the 'Service Bureau', we have always felt the Linotype/Hell (now Heidelberg) technology was far superior to anyone else. This is why the Linotype/Heidelberg imagesetters and rip's are the only ones we ever utilized at Tri-Tech. If we can't rip the files, no one can. We have been tested by this statement on many, many occassions.
Times have changed. Our Imaging equipment that made us a huge success through the 90's has all been replaced with the latest in Heidelberg/Delta technology. CTP is now the way of the future, and today.
Through years of working with Quark, we have acquired a vast knowledge in trouble shooting and technology, second to none. If your file has trouble areas, i.e. bleeds, trapping, effects. We can look after these area for you. Unlike some printers out there, we do not have any inhouse designers. It could be a conflict of interest to you. There is no conflict at Tri-Tech. We are here to service and protect your client base. Debelop a comfort level with Tri-Tech. You will appreciate the difference a family owned and operated priting company will bring.
